April is considered full-term today, only 3 weeks left!  Giulia is approximately 6 1/2 lbs. now & April is dilated to 1/2 a centimeter.  Her room has been ready, our bags are packed & all of our baby-gear & paraphernalia is in place.  By this time in 2009, we learned from 4 false alarms & were in the middle of a 14 hour labor stint.  Rocco's delivery did go smooth, considering, plus everyone ended up happy & healthy.  I hope that Giulia has the same experience.  We can't wait to meet you baby!!!

Power of Prayer

Rocco asked me to help him pray for the first time this weekend... He was running a slight fever all day Saturday and was afraid of getting another stomach virus & throwing up all night long. After some acetaminophen it broke & he felt better but the fever kept coming back, even this afternoon -- April said!. Him & I had a real bad stomach bug several months ago. It was the first time I remember being laid up for 30+ hours without eating or really moving out of bed at all... He never forgot that night, hugging the toilet every few hours, etc... and wanted to say a prayer asking God to not let it happen again. Saturday night we prayed for Rocco's stomach & Giulia's boo boo on her back to go away. Sunday night we prayed for Mommy & Rocco's stomach bug. April passed a comment that she felt funny just before bed so Rocco wanted to throw her into his prayers. The prayer I came up with for the kids is a mixture of one of my lines from a song I did ...
